I'm Back!

As promised here I am back into the blogging world again. I wish I could say the move went 100% smooth and everything is neatly settled in its place. But, life's not like that... at least not for me. So, we are actually moving in TODAY!

I really do have grand things planned for you. Here is hoping that I can share some projects and exciting announcements really soon! Until then I am thinking of creating some art like this to go above my fireplace. What do you think?

A Little Vacation

I love the style of this Morro Bay watercolor by David J. Rogers from etsy. We are leaving for a little vacation. Mostly we will be staying near Morro Bay in California. Don't worry, I have a few little things for you to look at while I am gone and I'll be back next week.

I know I posted about Lisa before but I just have to remind everyone about her lovely calendars. Every month she does a beautiful illustration and free calendar download. They are always unique and stunning!

In her etsy shop she also has yearly calendars printed on fabric for sale. They are a steal at $20. The hot air balloon is my personal favorite. She also has a floral one. You can never go wrong with one of her floral illustrations.

Ellen Giggenbach

Ellen is an amazing designer! Her style is simple and lovely with beautiful shapes and colors.I love her designs even more after finding out that she cuts and assembles her designs out of painted papers. This site has so many beautiful things! I would love to own any of their products. They also have a nice alphabet poster. So many pretty colors and designs, so little money!

The Paper Nut Alphabet Print

This print would be so perfect for my kid's room. I have been wanting a nice alphabet print and swooning over The Paper Nut designs for a while. Isn't it exquisite?

Angela Adams

Angela Adams designs are amazing! I love them even more after attending a lecture given by her a few years ago. She is so down-to-earth. It was really neat to hear about the things that inspire her. The watery prints in this photo are some of my favorites. But there are so many beautiful things to look at on her website.

Sarah Alfarhan

I ran across this great blog by illustrator, Sarah Alfarhan. Isn't she so talented? I enjoyed looking through her portfolio, especially her sketches. She does all sorts of illustrations but I fell in love with this sketch and her portraits.

The Surprise Party

We borrowed this book from the library today. The detailed illustrations are beautiful. It is one of my dreams to illustrate a children's book.
